Jonny sits on the edge of his bed and reads a book. He goes to the garage and jumps and dances. When Jonny looks at the sun, inky spots make the sky polka dot. Jonny watches the wall when the sun goes down and the trees get purple before they disappear.
Before Jonny slept, he was supposed to get married. But Jonny fell asleep instead, so now he makes music. It’s very easy to make music when you’re asleep. Now Jonny is in his afterlife, and he tells stories of other afterlives.
What’s an afterlife? Oh, you silly! An afterlife happens after everything turns upside down, and you can’t find your way back to where you were. Now you’re here, and you didn’t want to be. At least you’re alive!
